Why choose us?
Short answer, experience.
Long answer, Dani has spent the last 13 years living and working in the Canadian Rockies. She has spent countless hours exploring and studying the landscape and weather. Dani can look at the clouds before sunrise and know exactly how the sunrise will happen and know exactly where to go to make sure you get the best shot possible.
But what sets Dani apart from the rest is her ability to know where to go when the weather isn't the best. These are the times where we grow the most as photographers and Dani will help you find those diamonds in the rough and build skills that you can take with you.
CAPTURE THE CLASSICS AND CREATE ORIGINALS
At Banff Photo Workshops & Tours we like to say we specialize in being flexible!
We always have a Plan A, a Plan B and all the way to a Plan Z!
Dani is an amazing optimist when it comes to landscape photography. We will use whatever conditions Mother Nature presents to us and make the absolute most of it!
Every photo in this section was taken on seemingly "unfavourable" days and nights.

Story
Get to Know Me
Hey there, I'm Dani, the brains, heart, and lens behind Banff Photo Workshops.
Since planting my roots in the Canadian Rockies back in 2011, I've been on a relentless quest to uncover the hidden gems and breathtaking vistas that make this place so darn special. From sunrise to sunset, rain or shine, I'm out there scouting the perfect spots and compositions to share with you, my awesome clients.
After two decades of snapping shots and chasing light, I've pretty much mastered the art of timing and location. I've cracked the code on which spots shine brightest at different times of day, seasons, and weather conditions—so you don't have to.
Back in 2012, I decided to channel my passion for photography and the Rockies into something bigger. That's when I started Banff Photo Workshops & Tours. Trust me, after 22 years of obsession with all things photography, I've got stories, tips, and tricks for days.
So, whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, join me at Banff Photo Workshops, where we'll explore and learn. Let's make some memories and some darn good photos along the way.
